Two award-winning classical musicians will perform in Cumbria next month at a concert.
Charity Sunbeams has collaborated with Lake District Music to bring violinist Elizaveta Saul, a graduate of the Royal College of Music and Japanese-American pianist Ayane Nakajima to its Glassical Hall for the concert on April 24.
All funds raised will help provide vital funds for music therapy to local disabled and disadvantaged children and adults, while also supporting families and carers.
Elizaveta has given recitals throughout the UK and Europe with appearances at venues including the Albert Hall. She holds awards from a number of national and
international competitions.
Her concerto engagements include Croydon Symphony, Guildford Symphony, Chetham’s Symphony and Belarussian Symphony and Chamber orchestras.
Ayane grew up in New York and began her piano journey at the age of three. She has distinguished herself as a prize-winner in numerous international competitions.
Her recent performances span prestigious venues across the United States and Europe. Ayane is also actively involved in summer festivals.
The concert takes place on Thursday April 24 at 7.30pm with suggested donations requested of £15. There also will be a licensed bar and raffle.
