The critical care team was activated at around 12.30pm yesterday, Sunday March 30, to reports of the sport and leisure incident in Kirkland, near Frizington.
The service said: “We had a doctor and paramedic on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 12.51pm.
“Our team worked alongside the North West Ambulance Service to assess and treat a patient on scene.”
They were among 14 incidents the air ambulance was called out to across Cumbria, the North East and Scotland over the weekend.
