A person was airlifted to hospital following a collision in West Cumbria.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service said it was called at around 4.25pm yesterday, Sunday March 30, to Haile near Egremont.
The charity said: “We had a doctor and paramedic on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 4.51pm.
“Our team worked alongside the North West Ambulance Service to assess and treat a patient before airlifting them to hospital.”
Earlier that day, the team had attended a ‘sporting incident’ near Frizington.
They were among 14 incidents the air ambulance was called out to across Cumbria, the North East and Scotland over the weekend.
