There’s a day to go until Uppies & Downies arrives in Workington for the first game of the 2025 series.
We’ve been covering the series for years – in various guises – and we’re looking forward to this year too.

Uppies and Downies is a no rules mass football game, dating back at least 250 years.
Uppies have to get the specially made ball to Workington Hall while Downies have to get the ball to Workington Harbour.
