A man has died following a collision in West Cumbria in the early hours.
Emergency services were called to the Stainburn bypass, near Workington, just after midnight today, Sunday April 20.
The collision involved a red Volkswagen Golf.
A man in the car, in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation has been launched and the Stainburn bypass remained closed while enquiries continue today.
The road has reopened this afternoon.
