Altercation in Carlisle’s Lanes Shopping Centre between man and teen

An appeal for witnesses has been issued after an altercation between and a man and a teen in the Lanes Shopping Centre in Carlisle.

It happened near the library on Thursday April 17 at about 2.15pm.

The incident is reported to have involved a physical altercation.

Those involved were reportedly a white man, aged 40 to 50, wearing a navy top and grey trousers and a boy, white, aged 14 to 16, in a green tracksuit.

Also present were said to be two other boys. Both were white and aged 14 to 16.

One wore a grey tracksuit and grey cap and another wore a black puffer coat, black joggers and a black baseball cap.

Police would like anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
