An amber alert for wildfires has been issued for Cumbria.
The Lake District National Park Authority said there is an increased wildfire risk over the next two days.
The authority said: “Wildfires have the potential to devastate the Lake District landscape, kill animals and ruin habitats.
“Do not light fires, take litter home with you and leave no trace.”
