A Lake District school has welcomed the first pupils into its new location.
Windermere School’s Pre-Prep and Prep facilities have moved from its Elleray site to join the junior school at the Browhead campus.
Pupils’ first day was Monday and it will be officially opened on May 16.
The day marked a major milestone in the school’s continued commitment to providing exceptional education in outstanding surroundings, it said.
In the afternoon, families joined staff and pupils for a celebratory afternoon tea on the terrace.
Jenny Davies, head of pre-prep and prep, said: “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in making this vision a reality. This is an exciting new chapter for our school community, and we look forward to what lies ahead.”
