Cumbrian community choir Committed2Rock will hold two galas this week in aid of two county charities.
Weathered Rock, at Keswick’s Theatre by the Lake, will be held on Friday, May 9, and Saturday May 10 in aid of Cash for Kids and Hospice at Home West Cumbria, plus the theatre.
Committed2Rock has community choirs based in Whitehaven, Keswick and Penrith and since 2008 has raised over £180,000 for charities and organisations including the air ambulance, St Bees RNLI, young carers, mountain rescue and West Cumbria Society for the Blind.
The choirs are directed by Cathy Marcangelo.
