Repairs have been completed after a leak caused thousands of people to experience issues with their water supply this morning.
The problem was first reported at around 5.20am today, Monday May 12, and properties in the CA22 and CA24 postcodes have been affected.
United Utilities identified a leak in its network and confirmed that repairs had begun at around 11.40am.
It said at 1.45pm that it had now repaired the leak in the area.
However, it added, it may take up to two hours for water pressure to return to normal.
People may also experience some discolouration to their water due to the repair work on the pipe, but it should clear after a short time, United Utilities said.
