
A man has been arrested as part of an investigation into two attempted robberies in Carlisle.
A 57-year-old man from the city was arrested and will appear in court today, Friday June 6.
The first incident happened yesterday, Wednesday June 4, at 3.30pm in the car park at the Halston on Warwick Road.
The second incident occurred at 3.47pm on Botchergate.
The victims both women were in their cars during the incident. Both were uninjured but are being supported by police.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the incidents to contact police to assist with their investigation.
