Workington Comets league opener has been postponed until next month.
The speedway side were due to face Poole yesterday, Saturday June 7, at the Northside GT Tyres Arena, but it has been postponed due to the weather.
The Workington Comets team said: “It has been reluctantly postponed due to an unfavourable weather forecast, with an incredible amount of rain expected throughout the day.”
It has been rearranged and the meeting will take place on Saturday, July 12.
