A child was taken to hospital after they were involved in a collision with a van in a Lake District town.
Police were called to Bowness at 7pm yesterday, Wednesday June 25 by the North West Ambulance Service.
The child was taken to hospital with serious lower-leg injuries, not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver stopped at the scene.
No arrests have been made, police said.
