The Falls Spa

A Lake District spa has been named among the best in the country.

The Falls Spa at Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa has been officially crowned Best Destination Spa 2025 by The Good Spa Guide.

It is the second consecutive year it has been handed the title.

Nestled near the shores of Derwentwater near Keswick, the latest accolade from The Good Spa Guide shines a spotlight on the spa’s dedication to excellence, it said, and its growing reputation among regional visitors, national spa-goers, and even high-profile celebrities and influencers.

Facilities include the North West’s largest infinity hydrotherapy pool, a state-of-the-art thermal suite, and treatments ranging from reflexology-infused massages to specialist cancer touch therapies.

Cara O’Neill, spa manager, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to receive this recognition.

“It’s a true testament to our passionate team, the care we put into every detail, and the unique sanctuary we’ve created for our guests. The Falls Spa isn’t just somewhere to relax — it’s a destination to return to, again and again.”

Cara and fellow team members accepted the award in person at The Good Spa Guide Awards ceremony on Monday, and said the moment was a proud and unforgettable experience.
