Cumbria’s police, fire and crime commissioner is hosting a surgery to listen to people’s concerns and views about the county’s emergency services.
David Allen will hold the event in Cockermouth next Wednesday, August 5, to gather feedback about Cumbria police and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.
Mr Allen said: “As police, fire and crime commissioner, I am the residents’ voice – your voice – within policing and fire, therefore it’s vital that I am visible and accessible to the public.
“I’d encourage anyone in Cockermouth or the surrounding area to come along and speak to me if they have an issue they’d like to raise.
“If I don’t know there is a problem, I can’t help fix it.
“If you can’t make the surgery but would still like to raise a concern, I’m here to help so please use me as your voice to the chief constable and chief fire officer.”
The surgery will take place at Cockermouth Town Hall on Market Street on Wednesday August 5 between 9.30am and 10.30am.
