A man has been arrested after an afternoon assault and public order incident on a Carlisle street.
Police are investigating the incident which happened on July 30 at 3.30pm in the area of Lowther Street.
The suspect is alleged to have assaulted the victim and made threats.
A male in his 30s from Carlisle has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and Section 4 of the Public Order Act and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
