Top crime writers are set to appear at Death in the Dales festival later this year.
The three-day festival of crime in Sedbergh in October will feature authors including MW Craven, Martin Edwards, Kate Ellis, Julia Chapman, Frances Brody, Tom Mead, Martine Bailey, Caroline England, David Beckler, Dolores Gordon-Smith, Matthew Booth, Angela Wren, Lea O’Harra, JC Briggs, Veronica Bird and Vanessa Smith.
It takes place from October 17 to October 19 and kicks off with Film Noir at the Bar, featuring the film Scarlett Street and including Sedbergh’s famous pizza picnic supper.
On Saturday, MW Craven is in conversation with Martin Edwards and there are discussion panels and one-man show Murder Most Foul, the Life and Crimes of Agatha Christie.
A murder mystery event, plus book signings and meet the authors events will also take place.
