
A man is due to appear in court after police found over 30kg of cannabis in a vehicle.
Officers from the Roads Crime Unit stopped a vehicle on the M6 between J41 and J40 yesterday, August 5, at around 11.30am.
They searched the vehicle and seized over 30kg of cannabis.
Mohamed Hussain, 43, of Passey Road, Birmingham, was charged by detectives from Westmorland and Furness CID with possession with intent to supply a class B drug.
He was remanded and is due to appear before South Cumbria Magistrates Court today, August 6.
