
Emergency services were called out in the early hours of Tuesday to help search for a missing person.
Penrith Mountain Rescue Team said its volunteers were called at around 1.15am to Rickerby, Carlisle, working alongside police and Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service.
Shortly before 5am, the fire service found the missing person and Penrith team members helped with warming and extracting the person from where they were found.
The casualty was transferred by stretcher to a waiting ambulance.
