Workington and District Camera Club’s new season starts next month.
The first meeting will be held on Monday September 1 at 7.30pm in Bridgefoot Village Hall.
The club is inviting anyone interested in photography to go along and see what goes on. All abilities will be made very welcome.
A spokesman said: “It can be anything from fun photography to serious advanced photography, and more and more folk now are taking pictures using mobile phones.
“Joining a camera club is an ideal way of socialising, learning and meeting other like-minded people.
“Although we have been on our break there has been plenty going on throughout the summer, from away days, local locations, social meetups and monthly projects online.
“The new season has a full and varied programme of speakers, practical nights and competitions.”
