Herdy has teamed up with a Lake District school to celebrate 400 years of education in its village.
The brand has worked with Grasmere School to create an illustrated limited-edition notebook, which will only be available from the school or the Herdy Grasmere shop.
Only 500 have been produced.
Herdy’s creative team donated the design, and its cover features Herdy figures exploring the fells, splashing in streams, picking daffodils in a nod to Wordsworth, rowing boats, and even cartwheeling through the scenery.
Well known village landmarks, including the school, the church, the local school bus, and the gingerbread shop, once the original schoolhouse, also feature.
All proceeds from notebook sales will go towards Grasmere School’s £200,000 fundraising campaign, aimed at improving and extending the school’s facilities.
Plans include creating new indoor spaces for meals, activities, and community use.

Jo Goode, headteacher, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be collaborating with the iconic Herdy brand on the Grasmere School notebook, a beautiful celebration of 400 years of education at the heart of our village.
“This partnership not only honours our rich history but also helps secure our future, with all proceeds going toward ensuring Grasmere School continues to support and inspire the children of our community for the next 400 years.”
Kate Gunia, graphic designer for Herdy, said “It was a really fun and rewarding project to be involved with and great to know the school will benefit from the funds raised.”
