Carlisle United were denied a second successive National League win by a late Boreham Wood fightback.
The Blues, who had won their opening game following relegation at Woking a week ago, seemed to have turned the game around.
They had trailed 1-0 at the break before hitting back to lead 3-1 going into the last 20 minutes.
But the Hertfordshire side earned themselves a point at 3-3 with two goals in the last 11 minutes.
Carlisle’s new non-league hero Regan Linney scored two cracking goals to follow Georgie Kelly’s equaliser right after half-time.
The visitors keeper Nathan Ashmore had made the save of the game when he pawed away an effort from Luke Armstrong which was for his net.
Minutes later Luke Norris edged his side in front when he somehow steered the ball between the legs of home keeper Gabe Breeze.
Carlisle manager Mark Hughes brought on striker Georgie Kelly for the second half and the big Irishman made an instant impression.
He drilled home a well placed shot beyond Ashmore into the far corner just four minutes into the second half.
Carlisle had their tails-up and four minutes later they were in front when Linney scored with a powerful strike.
Already a big fans’ favourite he scored a second on 71 minutes with another outstanding strike into the top corner.
But the visitors earned their first point of the season with a Norris header and another header, this time from Charlie O’Connell when he was first to reach Erico Sousa’s free kick.
