
A disabled person has been verbally abused outside a Kendal supermarket.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward as they investigate the hate crime.
It was reported a person with disabilities was verbally abused outside Morrisons, close to the disabled parking bay, at about 4.30pm on Saturday August 16.
This was allegedly carried out by a girl, aged 13 or 14, wearing a white top. She had long brown hair.
Three people, all male, provided support to the victim and an older man potentially witnessed the incident.
