Record crowds enjoyed this year’s Cumbria Classic & Motorsport Show.
The sun shone at Dalemain, near Penrith as 800 cars were on display.
The event, organised by Wigton Motor Club, has been running since 1989.
The club said the highlight of the event was reuniting Malcolm Wilson with his first rally car, an Escort Mark 1 which has been restored by Neil Kirkham.
Also present were Malcolm’s first navigator John Davies and Keith Thomas who had helped built the car before Malcolm had it.
The car and Malcolm drew big crowds all day.

Also on the Wigton MC display was an M-Sport Ford Raptor Dakar rally car and a Lightweight Jaguar E type, along with many club motorsport cars.
Grass autotests were very popular with many people having a go at this taster event. Over 90 people joined the club taking the total membership to well over 1,000.
The winners and runners-up the classes brought over 40 cars into the arena for the final judging for the Car of the Show which went to the Ford Capri Mk1 for S Handley.
During the show, £480 was presented the Great North Air Ambulance on behalf of NESCRO.
