Julie and Nicola McMaster and Kez and Sadie Wilson with their double at Redmain with Silver Dream and Tucker

Tuesday was a return to Redmain and the three-grade meeting saw 24 hounds turn out on the night.

The seniors had an entry of four for the opening race with current championship leader Silver Dream for Darren and Julie McMaster and Anthony Skelton the favourite.

As they dropped down Millstone Moor finish Silver Dream had already established a great lead as she went out of sight.

Busy Again for Alan Blacklock and Carole Harrison was second, followed by Croft Lass for Stanley, Carole and Sarah Jackson, David Loan, Ricky Deacon and Donald Hodgson and Thorn Heart for Colin Satterthwaite.

The hounds can then be seen crossing Redmain Lonning and Silver Dream was still driving the trail by a huge amount with the same order of pursuers.

As they appeared on the finish, Silver Dream was still clear and finished to claim her 21st victory of the season.

There was a good race for second with Busy Again grabbing the ticket by three lengths from Croft Lass with the final ticket going to Thorn Heart.

There were eight runners for the puppy race and Tucker was sent off favourite for Nicola McMaster and Anthony Skelton.

As the hounds passed the trap field at Redmain Lonning, it was litter mates Tucker and I Am It for Ruth and Charlie Dixon who were leading the race with a small gap to litter mates Busy Rascal for Alan Blacklock and Carole Harrison and Pied Piper for Tanya Satterthwaite.

There was another small gap to kennel mates Minnie and Maggie for Les and Graham Reid, Erin Rowlandson, Barbara Jones and Steven Walker.

When they appeared onto the finish it was a great race between three litter mates (Swamp Fox/Sir Robert) with Tucker hanging onto the win by half a length from I Am It with Busy Rascal two strides back in third.

Sarah White with We Get By

Maggie was fourth and kennel mate Minnie fifth with the final ticket going to Pied Piper.

The final trail of the evening was the Open Maidens with 12 taking part.

Inspect was sent off the favourite for Anna and Kerry Lindsay, and Emmie McAulay.

As they passed the trail field at Redmain Lonning We Get By for Sarah White was leading the way from a good line of hounds with litter mates Discover for Anna and Kerry Lindsay, Sir Robert and Senorita for Malcolm Holmes all in the chasing pack.

As they showed on the finish two had broken clear and had a good race to the line with We Get By getting the verdict.

Although he went behind the judges they still had time to judge him for the win. Discover finished in second and it was close between the next three hounds with the judge having to refer to the camera.

Third place was given to Senorita and then Senor just ahead of Spring Return for Jenny Horn. The final ticket went to Audacity for Lisa and Holly Whitefield and Susan Passon.
