Holker Old Boys have Northern League visitors to Rakesmoor Lane tomorrow.
The South Cumbrians have home advantage for their FA Vase tie against Ryton and Crawcrook Albion.
Their opponents lie 13th of 22 in Division Two of the Northern League, with three wins and a draw from their eight games.
Holker have lost their last two NW Counties League games after a fine start to the season.
In the West Lancashire League it’s back to normal for the four Cumbrian sides after two mid-week derby clashes.
It was particularly eventful at Whitehaven where the home side scored their first win of the season in impressive fashion against local rivals Cleator Moor Celtic.
An ill-disciplined performance from Celtic contributed to their 5-1 defeat.
Manager Gareth Agnew wasn’t present at the County Ground on Tuesday and would certainly now have enjoyed what went on as his side finished with nine men.
Secretary Herbert Briggs was very honest in his appraisal and said that one of the players who was sent off could be looking at a lengthy ban.
Tomorrow Celtic entertain Coppull United and should be looking to make amends with their performance.
Coppull finished bottom last season but were saved from relegation and so far they have gathered four points, one more than Celtic.
Meanwhile Whitehaven also have a home fixture and manager Jon Karl Benson hopes they can follow up with a second successive victory.
They entertain Astley and Buckshaw United from Chorley who were promoted after finishing runners-up to Millom.
The visitors have picked up seven points at home and lost their only away game so far and sit three points and two places above their hosts.
Millom go into their home game with Hurst Green as joint leaders after making a fine, unbeaten start to life in the Premier Division.
A 2-1 win on Tuesday at Milnthorpe Corinthians was probably more emphatic than the scoreline suggests.
But Hurst Green are the draw specialists so far with four one-pointers in their seven matches.
The latest came on Tuesday, a 2-2 draw at home to League leaders Eagley.
Millom boss Dave Allan will have noted that the Clitheroe side took the lead against Eagley in the 89th minute – before conceding a minute later.
Milnthorpe Corinthians have a tough test when they travel to Haslingden St Mary’s.
The Corinthians are the only team in the league without a point and St Mary’s are fifth, just a point behind the joint leaders.
In the Wearside League, Windscale are also looking for their first point when they entertain Hartlepool Pool Youth Seniors.
Windscale only have West Auckland reserves below them while the visitors sit fourth in the table with three wins, a draw and defeat on their record.
By comparison to everybody else the Atoms have only played twice in the league so far, and they expected it would take time for the new-look squad to gel.
