Drivers are being warned about parking in South Lakes.
South Lakes Police spotted this vehicle parked up at Sandside, near Milnthorpe.
It said: “We have seen a lot of inconsiderate parking in the Lakes recently. It appears that this vehicle had not considered the consequences of parking like this in Sandside.
“Firstly, this is not a car park. It’s never been a car park, it will never be a car park. It is not a car park for some very good reasons.
“The area is known for its fast-moving tides, hidden channels and shifting sands.
“Inconsiderate parking here has led to numerous rescues. Please heed the warnings. Don’t put yourself at risk, do not put emergency services at risk.”
