Carlisle United will have to resume winning ways on Saturday without manager Mark Hughes.
The Blues boss will be missing for the game against Wealdstone who have opened the National League season with three straight wins.
United say that Hughes will be absent because of a “long-standing family commitment.”
Coach Frankie McAvoy, who joined the Blues ahead of the new season, will be in charge.
McAvoy told CUTV that Hughes’ absence on Saturday had been known within the group for a while.
“I’m looking forward to it as I am every game,” said McAvoy.
“There’s a lot of good clubs in the National League all fighting for what we are striving for, to get back into the Football League.
“I think it will be a really competitive game on Saturday as Wealdstone must be doing something right in winning all three games.”
McAvoy saw National League football towards the end of last season with Fylde United and was impressed with the standard.
