Reports are coming in that traffic is backing up on the A595 following a collision this morning.
Emergency services were called at around 6.40am today, Friday August 29, to the incident, which involved two vehicles.
Cumbria police has described the location as an access road into Sellafield near Beckermet.
Cumbria Crack has been told there is a traffic jam on the A595 and it is not clear if the road is open or partially blocked – Cumbria police could not confirm.
