
A man was injured after being attacked by a bottle in a Barrow Street.
It happened at around 3.40am today, Saturday September 6, on Cavendish Street.
The victim, a 29-year-old man from Barrow, sustained a head injury requiring hospital treatment.
The suspect is described as being a white man, tall and of slim build. He was reportedly wearing a grey jacket, grey shorts and black socks which were pulled up high.
Officers would like to hear from those who witnessed the incident or have information on who the suspect is.
