An investigation has been launched after a body was found in the Lake District.
Police officers found the body in the Troutbeck Bridge area on Sunday, September 14 at around 6.10pm.
The family of Jennifer Massie, 80, who was reported missing yesterday, are aware.
Formal identification has not yet taken place.
The death is being treated as unexplained and investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the death, police said.
