Kells are finishing a disappointing season on a high, backing up a big home win with a rare away success at Woolston Rovers.
After putting 60 points on Crosfields last week in West Cumbria, the Whitehaven side won 20-16 at Woolston Rovers.
Those two beaten sides will be playing Division Two rugby next season.
With just one game each to play Woolston are now bottom behind Crosfields and Oulton Raiders, with all of them on eight points.
Saturday’s win lifted Kells onto 18 points and it also put them ahead of neighbours Egremont on scoring differential.
The Cumbrians had been level 10-10 at the break against Woolston, but pulled clear 20-10 before the hosts scored a late converted try.

Grant Gainford (2), Will Ennis and Ashton Sice scored the Kells tries with Ross Gainford landing two conversions.
The game turned feisty in the last quarter when Woolston had a man sent-off and two sin-binned while Sice also saw red for Kells.
Victory for Egremont at home to Ince Rose Bridge would have kept them in the hunt for the final play-off place but they lost 26-14.
Even victory on Saturday at relegated Oulton Raiders won’t be enough to get them into the top six and the play-offs.
Although the Mont scored first with an unconverted try by Jack Conway, they trailed 18-4 at half-time.
But a spirited revival pulled them back to 18-14 with nine minutes left as Matty Henson and Cian Sharpe scored tries, one of them converted by Matty Bewsher.
Unfortunately Rangers couldn’t complete the come-back as the visitors clinched the win with two late tries.

In Division Two Barrow Island go to second-places Dewsbury Celtic needing a win to secure the final play-off place.
It will be a tough ask especially as Celtic won 58-0 at Normanton Knights on Saturday.
The Knights are the Islanders rivals for sixth place currently sitting there two points better off than the South Cumbrians but with a poorer scoring differential.
Barrow Island were at leaders East Leeds for their penultimate game and their hosts made it 21 wins from 21 games with a 62-16 victory.
The Islanders’ tries came from Will Hadwen, Trent Ruddy and Ollie Holmes, with two goals by Carl McBain.
Hensingham, secure in fifth place, were comfortable 40-0 winners at home to Drighlington. They will travel to Clock Face Miners in the play-offs.

Jay Weatherill, on dual registration with his former community club having completed his first season with Whitehaven, scored two tries.
There were other touchdowns for Luke Charlton, Jon Carrick, Noel Branthwaite, Dylan Bragg and Miller Dalton.
Adam Williamson kicked five goals while Josh Rogerson also put one over.
Ellenborough Rangers’ unbeaten run in their last two games was ended by third-placed Pilkington Recs.
After a scoreless first-half the visitors scored 14 unanswered points to win, a defeat that means Elbra will finish bottom of the League.
