Avanti West Coast said following Storm Amy, services continued to be disrupted today, Sunday October 5.

Heavy rain was flooding the area between Staveley and Windermere, blocking lines between these stations. As a result, trains that run between Oxenholme Lake District and Windermere ran between Oxenholme Lake District and Staveley only.
