Alcohol and cash from a tips jar were among the items stolen from Maryport Rugby Club.

Burglars targeted the club on September 30 between 11.30pm and 11.46pm.

Police are investigating and have released CCTV images of a person they would like to identify and talk to in connection with their enquiries.

Bottles of spirits were taken, officers said.

Police are also asking anyone who was driving in the area at the time of the burglary to check their dashcam, as well as people living in the area to check their doorbell footage.

Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it quoting incident number 112 of 1 October 2025.

People can also call 101 and speak to the investigating officer PC Twentyman on option 2, extension 42520.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 with any information relating to the offence.
