Temporary traffic lights are set to be in operation at a major Workington junction this week.
The Ramsay Brow A66 junction has been closed for four weekends as part of a £10m project to improve its access in the long-term.
Cumberland Council said temporary traffic lights were due to be set up today and people are warned that they may cause delays to some journeys.
During the work, there will be no pedestrian crossing at Ramsay Brow.
People are advised to use the crossing at Jane Street, or a temporary crossing will be available at Hall Brow.
