
A child was struck by a car outside a Barrow school.
Cumbria police is investigating the incident, which happened outside St James’ Church of England School in Blake Street between 3.15pm and 3.30pm on September 10.
The nine-year-old child did not require hospital treatment following the incident.
Cumbria police is encouraging the driver of the vehicle – who stopped at the scene and attended the child’s home address – to contact them to help with the investigation.
Officers are also encouraging anyone who witnessed the incident or can provide the vehicle registration for the car, to come forward.
