
An all-terrain scooter is set to be launched at a Cumbrian visitor attraction later this month.
The scooter, known as a Tramper, will be introduced at Lowther Castle and Gardens on October 23.
The Tramper allows those with limited mobility to experience all that the visitor attraction, near Penrith, has to offer.
With its robust design and off-road capabilities, the Tramper can navigate a variety of terrains, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all
On the launch day, people will be able to book a free one-to-one guided trip to the river and back so people can learn about Lowther Conservation whilst getting to grips with the Tramper.
Training is provided.
Avanti West Coast’s Customer & Communities Improvement Fund has helped to create the new Tramper location. The fund aims to support schemes along the Avanti West Coast route.
Trampers are also available at Whinlatter Forest, Langdale, Grizedale, Sizergh, Wray Castle, Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway and Holker Hall.
