Whitehaven have announced their 10th signing ahead of the 2026 season.
It’s a familiar face, too, as experienced Chris Taylor has agreed new terms for another year at the Otus Rec.
The 31-year-old initially signed for the club ahead of the 2014 campaign and has became a mainstay for many coaches in his time in West Cumbria having scored 52 tries in 195 appearances in Haven colours, having also had short spells at Halifax and Workington in his career.
Haven coach Anthony Murray said: “It’s fantastic to have Chris continuing with us.
“He brings a wealth of experience and continues to set the standard for professionalism and commitment every day.
“He’s hard-working, tough, and consistently leads by example both on and off the field.
“Having someone with his attitude and longevity is invaluable for the squad.
“He’s a true club man who continues to embody what it means to wear the jersey.”
