A road in a West Cumbrian village is set to close for up to two weeks for resurfacing.
Cumberland Council said the C2023, which runs through Oughterside, near Aspatria, will be closed from Monday, October 27.
The work is expected to last for up to two weeks, subject to weather and site conditions.
Between 7.30am and 6pm, access for residents will be restricted. A traffic marshal will be on site to help people reach their homes when possible.
Refuse collections will continue where it is safe to do so, and access will be maintained at all times for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists, and emergency service vehicles.
