A 20-home estate has been completed in a West Cumbrian village.
Summerscales, in Gosforth, has been built by Thomas Armstrong Construction on behalf of Castles & Coasts Housing Association.
It said it was the first major housing construction in the area for more than 20 years. The estate provides a mix of affordable rent, shared ownership, rent to buy and outright sale homes for local people.
The majority of new homes are already occupied, the housing association said, with all affordable rent and rent to buy homes quickly snapped up.
