Police are investigating after a man stole food and alcohol from a West Cumbrian supermarket using a bag for life.
The incident happened yesterday, Tuesday October 28, at around 9.45pm at Tesco in Whitehaven.
It was reported that the man entered the supermarket via the front door, filled a red bag for life with food, goods and alcohol and then left the shop via the same door without making any attempt of providing payment.
The suspect is described as a white man, around 5ft 10in.
He was wearing a white and grey Nike zip-up jacket, black tracksuit bottoms, white trainers and a black cap.
Police are looking for any witnesses who may have been in the area at this time.
