
Police are appealing for information after a collision in north Cumbria.
The incident happened yesterday, Sunday November 2, at around 1.50pm on the A689 at the junction for Irthington, near Carlisle.
Officers said the collision involved a beige Skoda Superb and a second vehicle which failed to stop at the scene.
The vehicle which failed to stop at the scene of the collision may have been a blue Audi.
It is believed the vehicle which failed to stop headed in the direction of Irthington.
Nobody was injured as a result of the collision however police said they were keen to trace the driver of the vehicle which failed to stop.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision and any vehicles which may have dashcam footage.
Police are also keen to speak to any local garages or mechanics who may have been asked to repair damage to a blue Audi which would be consistent with being involved in a collision
