Only two games were played in the Cumberland County League at the weekend.
Heavy overnight rain caused havoc with pitches with several waterlogged.
Both games that went ahead were in Division One and both were tight affairs.
A second-half goal by Jack Dunstan earned Dearham United a 1-0 win at Whitehaven reserves.
In the other game Charlie Thomson had given Northbank a 1-0 advantage at the break but Windscale reserves earned a point with a goal from Ollie Rowe.
That point meant Northbank’s lead at the top had been trimmed to three points by Dearham, who have a game in hand.
It sets it up nicely for Saturday’s clash at Potter’s Park where Dearham entertain Northbank.
