
A weather warning has been issued for Cumbria.
The Met Office has issued the yellow warning for the county from midnight until 11am today, Tuesday November 4.
Following a period of heavy rain last night and early this morning, causing many places to become very wet, rainfall rates are expected to increase once again from this evening through to late tomorrow morning.
With these preconditions in place, there is an increased chance of some flooding and transport disruption due to this second period of heavier rainfall.
Many places within the warning area could see a further 30mm to 60mm building up, with a few prone spots possibly seeing up to 80mm.

A flood warning – meaning flooding is expected – at Keswick Campsite.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Further rain throughout today and tomorrow will cause lake levels to keep rising. They are expected to peak around 2.7m tomorrow afternoon.
The situation is being monitored by the Environment Agency.
A flood warning is also in place the River Greta at Keswick, Keswick Campsite, Rugby Club and Quinta.
Flooding is expected this morning.
The River Greta level at Greta Bridge was 3.02 metres. Property flooding is possible when it goes above 3.50 metres
It is expected rain will ease off after 8am today, Tuesday November 4, with the river levels peaking below 3m, at Keswick Campsite gauging station, before lunchtime.
