
A section of the A590 in South Cumbria will be closed overnight for four weeks for resurfacing.
National Highways is resurfacing the road from Newby Bridge roundabout to the start of the High and Low Newton bypass.
As a result the road will be closed between Newby Bridge and Meathop roundabouts from Sunday, November 9, from 8pm to 6am.
The work is expected to be completed by Friday December 5.
Workers will be on site Monday to Thursday.
Traffic will be diverted from Newby Bridge roundabout to Windermere and then rejoin the A590 at Brettargh Holt.
