Popular forward Jordan Thomson has re-signed for another season with the Whitehaven club.
The 32-year-old agreed a new deal to stay with Haven until the end of the 2026 season.
Thomson, who started his pro career with Whitehaven before spending time with local rivals Workington made 18 appearances on his return to his home-town club last season.
All of them came in the starting line-up, scoring four tries in the Chocolate, Blue and Gold.
He will now be preparing for his fourth season as a Whitehaven player.
Haven head coach Anthony Murray said: “We’re thrilled to have Jordan re-sign with the club.
“He’s a hugely experienced player who leads by example every single day.
“I’ve had the privilege of working with Jordan for the last three seasons, so I know first-hand just how important he is to our group.
“His leadership, professionalism and the way he carries himself make him an outstanding role model for our younger players.
“On and off the field, he’s a genuinely good person and an integral part of what we’re building here.”
