Firefighters have tackled a farm workshop blaze in north Cumbria.
A crew from Longtown Fire Station, supported by Brampton Fire Station, were called to the farm near Shankhill, near Longtown, on Thursday November 13.
Crews extinguished the well developed fire in the workshop attached to cattle sheds and dairy.
Longtown Fire Station said: “Prompt action prevented further escalation to the adjacent buildings which included the farm house less than 2m away.”
Crews got back to Longtown just after 1am.
It was the third call out that day for the crew.

At around 6am, Longtown Fire Station was called out to a flooded property near Newtown.
The station said: “We had to pump for several hours to prevent catastrophic damage from field run off.
“Whilst we were there one of the residents unfortunately took a tumble and sustained injuries requiring medical attention and assistance from North West Ambulance Service.
“We hope that the individual makes a swift recovery and wish them all the best.
“Thanks to those drivers who slowed down, drove with care and were patient whilst we guided you over the hose ramps. The tiny few who did not, please consider just how bad conditions were this morning and both your own and our crew safety.
“Following this incident we redeployed to Brampton to assist our colleagues from Brampton Fire Station and Carlisle West Fire Station in pumping deep floodwater threatening properties on Longtown Road.”
