A 13ft mural will be painted on the side of a Barrow town centre pub.
Planning permission has been granted for the wall of Cunningham’s pub, on Bath Street, for the artwork.
The mural is based on a 1949 advert from Guinness designed by artist John Gilroy.
It depicts a man pulling a horse in a cart and would be 13ft high and 13ft wide.
The artwork for the Bath Street venue was given the go-ahead by Westmorland and Furness Council on November 12.
