Plans have been lodged to expand a popular north Cumbrian holiday park.
Currently, Brayton Park, near Aspatria, has 21 holiday lodges. It has applied to add 192 new lodges to the site.
The 45-hectare site also includes a nine hole golf course.
Its application said the park offered high quality holiday lodges that have proven to be in high demand by visitors ranging from families, friends and couples.
It added: “To build on this success and meet demand, this application is being made to increase the number of holiday lodges at the application site.
“As such, this application proposes the stationing of an additional 192 units, to be located on the existing golf course in the south and unused grassland in the north, so that the total number of holiday lodges at the site would be 213 including the existing 21 units.”
The application is currently under consideration by planning officers.
