Work to revamp a bus stop in Carlisle will begin on Monday.
Cumberland Council said work on the bus stop opposite Sainsbury’s would continue until Friday December 5.
The bus stop will be fully closed.

To keep disruption to a minimum, the works will be carried out under a restricted hours lane closure, operating 9am until 3pm daily, including weekends.
The reconstruction will tackle longstanding issues, the council said, including:
- Standing water accumulation
- Rutting of the carriageway
- Bus scraping on drainage kerbs
